Participants from the countries that have visa regimes with Russia are obliged to get entrance visas.

The Organizing Committee provides all the participants of the FIDE World Cup with official visa invitations.

To get a visa invitiation, please send a proper copy of the international passport to the email: visa@ugra2019.com

The deadline to request a visa invitation is 22.08.2019.

To apply for a Russian visa you should submit the following document to the Russian Embassy or Consulate:

• a visa application form that is to be filled in online, printed out and signed. Handwritten and typed application are also acceptable.
  The online form should be filled in at the webpage of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: visa.kdmid.ru⁠

• a hard copy of the international passport valid for more than 6 months with at least 2 blank pages for your visa and entry/exit stamps.

• two color or black and white photographs 35 mm x 45 mm with a full-face view in which the visa applicant is facing the camera directly, without glasses or hats and other head pieces unless it's for religious reasons providing that the applicant has the same head piece on the passport’s photo.

• an official invitation to Russia.

• a copy of the medical insurance covering the trip duration.
